The California College Media Association aims to foster cooperation among colleges in California to give a unified voice in addressing problems and issues that college news media face, to provide support and communications to advisers and editors, to nurture college journalists and to share valuable resources.

“I’m immensely proud of the staff here at the Niner. We’ve all put in so much hard work over this past year, and despite all the challenges with the pandemic and being remote, continue to produce quality journalism,” said Madalyn Amato, Forty-Niner editor-in-chief. “Although awards aren’t the reason we do what we do, it’s always nice to be recognized.”
