Reports have suggested that Iran is disbanding its morality police following months of national and international protests, though this has yet to be confirmed.
The U.S. Senate voted to approve a measure preventing a strike of railroad workers, though they did not grant workers the expansion of paid sick days they demanded. Russian President Vladimir Putin declined the opportunity to speak with U.S. President Joe Biden about ending the war in Ukraine.
