On today’s Daily 49er News, James interviewed Heather Mazzei, Program Coordinator at CSULB’s Lifefit Center, about her involvement with drug addiction support in the area.  Mazzei promoted Long Beach State’s new community outreach initiative, Beach Recovery.  The service connects those dealing with abuse issues with support groups, treatment centers and on-campus alcoholic anonymous meetings.  Check below for further information:

Enedina interviewed Romero Y Perez, a three person band from CSULB who combines traditional Latino acoustic guitar playing and modern rock aesthetics.
Filling us in with entertainment news, Carolina covered the latest antics of Miley Cyrus and Jimmy Fallon taking over the Tonight Show throne.
In video game news, Irrational Games, developer of the critically acclaimed Bioshock series, will soon be closing its doors.
We also tackle jamzilla, community college degrees, ASI fees and party popping Guinness Book record breakers.
