East Fourth Street in Long Beach got colorful on Mar. 6 with the latest exhibit “Safe in the Light,” featuring neon light art pieces. The exhibit, now on display, is meant to be viewed through the gallery’s windows for safe-viewing.

“For the Love of Essential Workers” is a piece created by artist Stephanie Mercado, featured in the art series Silver Linings by the Los Angeles Country Metro system. The vibrant print collage is designed to honor essential workers and their continuous work amid the coronavirus pandemic.
