Long Beach State chemistry professor Tom Gufrey resigned just before the start of the 2019 fall semester after a viral video alerted administration of Gufrey’s “dangerous” experiments. Gufrey met with the Daily Forty-Niner staff to conduct a final chemistry demonstration before he parts ways with the university.

CSU to lower math requirements for some majors
