The Long Beach State women’s volleyball team hosted the University of Santa Clara Broncos in the Walter Pyramid Wednesday night for the first round of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship. The Beach lost in five sets, 25-20, 25-23, 22-25, 23-25, 16-14.
The group exhibition includes “Prologue,” which features work from eight graduating drawing and painting BFA students. ”Postures,” located at the Merlino, Dutzi and Werby galleries, shows displays from photography students.
This year’s senior gallery featured over 40 artists from the illustration, animation and pre-production fields. Each student showcased a portfolio of two-dimensional work, resulting in a variety of visuals in the exhibit.
Veterans, city officials and the public were all present for Long Beach’s Veteran’s Day Parade, which rallied through a large portion of Atlantic Avenue.
Long Beach State forced 29 turnovers in a gritty Homecoming game versus the University of San Diego Saturday, Nov. 9. The Beach won 74-62.
