The inflatable Osbourne was designed by comic book artist Todd McFarlene.

Fans waiting in line kept their energy up despite the long wait. Those who had their records signed by Osbourne first would come out of the store and celebrate with everyone still waiting.

Ashley Levi said she flew in from South Carolina just for the event. Levi said she was unsure of whether or not to make the trip until her husband urged her to go.

“I told Ozzy that I came from South Carolina and he said, ‘No you f— didn’t,’” Levi said.

Many fans said they wanted to meet Osbourne before he moves back to England.

Nathan Shapiro, Erick Garcia and Jonny Heinz, members of Nox Sinister, a heavy metal band based in Los Angeles, said Osbourne was one of the reasons they started making music.
