The superb blend of lighting, sound and props create a gritty and realistic world that leaves audiences feeling uncomfortable and empathetic for the play’s vivid characters.
Written by Suzan-Lori Parks, the play is a modern interpretation of Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter” and will be coming to the Players Theater at Long Beach State from Feb. 14 to March 1.
