Bow-chicka-wow-wow: Foods to get you in the mood for Valentine’s

Valentine’s Day is here…bow-chika-wow-wow! It’s that time of year again when we buy lots of red crap with hearts on it to give to our partners, so they know just how much they mean to us.

A long day of classes or work, however, can get you out of that romantic Valentine’s Day mood real quick. When you finally spend time with your partner at the end of the day, you might not be in a very loving mood at all.

There is a cure to making sure you keep that loving spirit all day, though: food!

Here’s a list of sexy foods that will make you want to be very romantic with your partner at the end of the night:

Whip cream in a bottle

Now if you’re a real “romantic,” you already have some stored in your sock drawer. Whip cream doesn’t only make food in general more yummy to eat, but you can put some on your partners fingers and lick it off. Get creative.

Liquor

If you’re at the legal drinking age, make sure you have some wine on the table. Liquor doesn’t only come in handy at the bars or clubs. Remember, the more drinks your partner has, the more attractive you appear. Fill up that cup, so you can look like Brad Pitt!

Ice cream

Pick out your partners favorite flavor, put it in a cone and let them lick away. When the frozen food cools them down, get close and warm them up.

Spaghetti

This probably never happens in real life, but imagine you’re eating out of the same bowl, and all of the sudden, you find you’re munching on the same noodle as your partner. Kiss, kiss! This can also be accomplished with chow mein, but it might not be considered as romantic.

The banana

I really don’t think I have to explain this one, but any foods that resemble genitalia can get you in the mood real quick. Melons work as well.

Chocolate

You can’t go wrong with chocolate any night of the year, but Valentine’s Day is the time to have some chocolate. Just avoid the heart shaped box. It’s corny and says you didn’t try hard enough.

Oysters

It sounds nasty when you think of it, but back in the day when there was no Viagra, this aphrodisiac worked wonders.

Heart candies

Just a general Cupid’s Day food everyone should have. They’re sweet and their messages can help you express what you want to say to your partner. What else can you ask for?

Chocolate covered strawberries

Strawberries are sexy in general, but cover them in chocolate and oh baby! Have some handy tonight, and feed them to your partner. They’re yummy and sexy, all in one!

Most important of food of all, is anything edible you’ve cooked

Cooking for your partner can be very sexy. It lets them know that you cared enough to make them a meal you know they would enjoy. It’s sweet, loving and much more romantic than anything you can buy your partner at a store. Put on that apron!

Those foods should get you right in the mood no matter how hard your day’s been. Have yourselves a happy Valentine’s Day, and remember, it’s only Tuesday. Don’t get too crazy!
