A female Cal State Long Beach student felt faint during a class in Lecture Hall 103 in the Hall of Science and was taken by paramedics to a local hospital this afternoon, according to University Police.
Keith Caires, patrol sergeant at CSULB, said University Police received a medical aid call at 1:36 p.m. today. Two CSULB police officers and 5 to 6 firemen and paramedics were on the scene, according to Caires.
The female student was “right on the border between feeling faint and fainting” but had not yet lost all consciousness, Caires said.
Caires said he didn’t know the cause of the student’s condition.
