This will be a very short comment on your newspaper’s “Opinion” concerning the pardoning of the killer Peltier by Obama [Monday, Nov. 23 Daily 49er]. Peltier received a fair trial and innumerable judicial reviews all of which came to the same conclusion.
He was guilty as charged. The pleadings for his commutation or pardoning are all liberal hogwash based upon some naive sense of trying to pay for alleged past sins against Native Americans.
Maybe before you write your next opinion, you might try to expose yourselves to all of the facts and not just parrot the views of the “free Peltier” movement.
