Abortion stops a beating heart

Gerry,

If abortion is not murder, I’d be curious to know what you would define it as?  The death of a “parasite no longer living off a host”, as you put it?  You did come out of your mother’s womb, so at what point did you stop being a parasite and start becoming human?  I’d like to test you on your knowledge of the subject matter.

Here is a medical illustration of 23-week abortion performed at Family Planning Associates, 2777 Long Beach Boulevard a few miles from the campus: http://catalog.nucleusinc.com/generateexhibit.php?ID=9663&ExhibitKeywordsRaw=&TL=&A=2.

Too human-like?  Parasite too big, you’d feel better with a smaller one?  It shouldn’t matter — a parasite isn’t human, right?

I stood outside that facility every Saturday for 7 years.  Would you like to see a video of an ambulance whisking a woman away after a botched abortion, having her “parasite” removed?

Children Parasites are viable at 23 weeks.

You might want to look up your definition of late-term abortion.  Here is Planned Parenthood’s research arm, the Guttmacher Institute’s latest paper on the subject (dated April 1, 2011): http://www.guttmacher.org/statecenter/spibs/spib_PLTA.pdf.

Note their comment:  “Although the vast majority of states restrict later-term abortions, many of these restrictions have been struck down.”

It seems there is another person who is not mentioned at all in your article, someone with a beating heart: http://www.ehd.org/movies.php?mov_id=21.

Oh wait, it’s only a parasite.  I go back to when you stopped being a parasite, and became a living, human being.  When was that, Gerry?
