Men’s Basketball: Robinson earns All-District recognition

Long Beach State sophomore T.J. Robinson was named National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Second Team All-District 9 in a vote of member coaches, the NABC announced on Tuesday.

Robinson is one of 240 student athletes, from the 24 districts, to be honored as an all-district pick.

The West Haven, Conn. native earned second-team recognition after averaging 15.4 points per game, while his 10.1 rebounds per game puts him at 20th in the nation in that category.
Robinson also led the Big West Conference with 17 double-doubles, a mark good enough for 12th best in the country.

The forward scored more than 20 points seven times during the season, while finishing with 30 double-digit scoring games and 17 double-digit rebounding games. He also led the Big West with a .520 field goal percentage.
