Students at Cal State Long Beach will have an opportunity to win big if they find cans of Red Bull hidden around campus until Sept. 30.
Red Bull started their scavenger hunt contest, “Red Bull Stash,” hiding four-packs of Red Bull Energy Drink around campuses nationwide on Sept. 9. Maps and clues are provided on their website with hints to where the energy drinks are located.
Red Bull will pass out clues for a grand prize contest, entitled “Final Stash,” on Sept. 30 — only for those who have found the packs and entered codes on the website. The grand prize is a trip for two, including a skydiving experience with the Red Bull Air Force.
According to Red Bull’s official website, there have been 46 packs found in a three-mile radius at CSULB, and there are still 28 packs hiding somewhere on campus.
Seniors Soowon Yi and Kyungli Park found two boxes at CSULB on Friday.
“We found one in the Horn Center and another one in the library,” Yi said. “We saw a pack on the bookshelf in the library and started to find another one.”
“It sounded fun when we found out about this,” Park said. “I hope not many people know about this, so I can find more.”
